Meet the Team: Julia JM

We would like to introduce the newest member of our board, Julia
Mozheyko.  Julia’s unique international background and business
experience combined with her artistic temperament make her a valuable
addition to our team.

Julia was born in Russia but relocated to Cairo Egypt at age nine
where she was raised.  The daughter of the owner of the one of the most prestigious ballet academies in Russia, Julia was trained
in dance, acting and music from a young age and given an international
education, eventually graduating from the Russian Diplomatic School.
After graduation she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration and Management from Novosibirsk State University.



Julia began her professional career with Sherry Haute Couture an
Egyptian- American fashion firm based in Guangzhou, China.  While with
Sherry she was intimately involved with the organization and
management of numerous fashion shows and events such as Hong Kong
Fashion week, Canton Fair, Cairo Fashion Week, CPM Moscow and much
more.

Julia then moved back to Cairo as a marketing executive for the ITC
group, one of Egypt’s biggest hospitality corporations.  While at ITC
she earned an associate degree in marketing from the RITI Institute
and as a senior marketing executive she was the brand manager for
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf while at the same time she spearheaded the
launch of the Popeye’s Fried Chicken, Carnivore, Tamarind restaurants
in Egypt. Due to her success Julia was transitioned to Los Angeles and
put in charge of ITC’s American expansion effort.  While political
unrest in Egypt delayed ITC’s expansion plans, Julia was able to continue her success and in 2015 she launched the first Coffee Bean &
Tea Leaf in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Soon after Julia decided to return to her life-long passion and her
roots, art.  After a short stay with an art gallery in Los Angeles,
Julia became an independent art dealer and curator, she currently
works with many award winning national and international artists and with buyers from all over the world.

Last November she became managing partner in FireFly Films. 

Julia is fluent in Russian, English and Arabic.

Meet The Team: Alex Melnyk

Guess its time to do little introductions.

So let's start with "The Core" of FF-Films LLC, Alex Melnyk.

Alex is the "Big Boy" of the company, he is the Founder, that's why he is number one on introduction list.

Director, Cinematographer, Writer

Alex were born in Ukraine in 1986.

Creativity always been part of his life.

At a very young age, while living in Kiev, he started career as Fashion & Glamour Photographer.
He established strong name in a very short time, but he didn't want to stop, he had to move forward towards new achievements.
So he started getting into filming. Story repeated again. He started shooting commercials, music videos, short TV series, his name were all over the place.

Young, creative, reckless, his life always was like a race, the race with himself.

Few years ago, due to some events, he decides to leave everything behind, career, stability, fame, friends, family and moves to LA. 

It wasn't easy, specially after being the "King" back home start everything from the scratch.

First year was tough, maybe one day he will write script about it. 

At some point, I thought he gonna give up...


BUT.....


Because of his talent and stubbornness which sometimes can drive people crazy, he made it.
So in little more than a year his name started to be recognizable in the City of Angeles as professional filmmaker.
Alex shoots lots of music videos, commercials, documentaries and films.

" Riding a Bike is like an art, something you do because feel something inside" 

Alex is a biker, he loves speed, adrenaline.
He likes things to be done fast and sharp.
Just like on a bike, you can't make mistakes, it might coast you life.

What he wants to do is to make real movies.

He already has script and finished shooting small part of his big movie.
